An Italian Fairytale: Anastasia & Filippo at Castello di Torre Alfina

There are weddings that feel like a dream, and then there’s Anastasia and Filippo’s day at Castello di Torre Alfina. Nestled in the heart of the Italian countryside, this wedding was a masterclass in blending old-world aristocracy with a fresh, modern edge.

The Vision

From the moment I saw their stationery—decked out with hand-drawn illustrations of the castle and delicate deckled edges—I knew we were in for something special. The vibe was "Timeless Italy" meets "Modern Chic."

The Aesthetic: Sun-Drenched Elegance

The design choices were incredibly intentional. Instead of traditional wedding whites, the couple leaned into a palette of crisp white and vibrant yellow spring blooms (hello, daffodils and chamomile!).

We set the long dinner table inside a hall that looked like a museum, with breathtaking frescoes and towering statues. To soften the grandeur of the stone walls, we used flowing chiffon runners in sand and gold tones, creating a romantic, ethereal atmosphere that felt lived-in and warm.

The Couple

Anastasia was a vision of versatility. She started with a sleek, high-neck satin gown that screamed "Old Hollywood," before transitioning into a dreamy, tulle masterpiece with billowing sleeves. Her high ponytail added that perfect touch of modern "cool-girl" energy.

Filippo held his own with that effortless Italian flair—switching from a sharp black tuxedo to a relaxed, cream double-breasted suit that looked like it belonged on the coast of the Mediterranean.

One of my favorite moments was capturing them in the castle’s manicured gardens as the sun began to dip behind the towers. Whether they were leaning against a vintage cream convertible or running through the hedges, the chemistry was electric.
